Training Afternoons

Reception and Dispensary will be closed from 1.00 pm - 3.30 pm (4.00 pm in January) on the following Wednesday afternoons, for staff training:-

Community Midwives

Midwife

A midwife holds an antenatal clinic on Wednesdays between 14:00 - 16:00. Patients may see her direct without a prior appointment with the GP.

Community Nurses

A district nursing team is attached to the practice and they see patients in the community for nursing care and support, You can leave a message for them on 01673 233600.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

A health visitor  is available in surgery on Thursdays. Telephone 01673 233600 extension 4.
